Katherine Martinez Campos
Coordinator of Field Programs
Originally from Turrialba, Cartago, Katherine has a degree in Ecotourism and a background in Design of Learning Environments. Katherine's extensive experience in various roles at EPI, including Field Instructor, Communication Assistant, and Local Program Assistant, has led to her current position as Coordinator of Field Programs in Costa Rica. Her philosophy is to inspire environmental literacy among youth and provide them with the tools to lead sustainable communities.
When she's not in the field, Katherine loves to take pictures of all kinds of animals she encounters on her journeys. On sunny afternoons, she enjoys sipping a good coffee with her friends, and on rainy days, she can be found curled up with a good book.
Katherine's dedication to her studies earned her the award of excellence for Best Regional Performance during her degree studies. With her vast experience and passion for environmental education, Katherine is sure to make a significant impact on EPI's mission to create a sustainable future.
