Catalina Gómez

Meet Génesis Andrea Rodríguez Porras, a dedicated field instructor for Ecology Project International's Meet Catalina Gomez, our passionate instructor, with a diverse background in environmental education and youth empowerment. Catalina spent four years collaborating with foundations and companies focused on environmental education and youth projects. Notably, she worked with FUNDECOR, organizing field trips and workshops for students to foster environmental awareness.

She holds a degree in Ecological Tourism from the University of Costa Rica and is certified as a Naturalist Tourist Guide by the Costa Rica Tourism Board. Currently pursuing a degree in Non-Formal Education Administration.

Excited to join EPI, Catalina envisions our courses as opportunities for youth to merge their creativity with nature, inspiring positive changes.

Away from work, Catalina enjoys nature, dancing, and learning new skills. She actively engages in community initiatives related to environmental protection and cultural activities.
